Sixth Grade Social Studies
The sixth grade Social Studies classes are hard at work learning about the Roman Empire, it’s rise and fall. So far the classes have been split into groups and each group got the opportunity to be teachers for the day and presented assigned material in Power Point form.
Seventh Grade Social Studies
The seventh grade Social Studies classes are currently studying the United States government it’s make up and function. We will be looking at and discussing the Bill of Rights and how those ten amendments apply to us. In the upcoming weeks the classes will be divided in the House and the Senate and we will be proposing, debating and voting on bills for eventual passage into law.
Eighth Grade Social Studies The eighth grade class have just completed their studies on the Civil War Reconstruction Period and we are not studying the rise of Industry and how the inventions of the 1800 and 1900’s have impacted our lives.
