Preschool 3’s

 

During March, we will be learning:

v Letters – Q, R, S, and beginning T.  Be sure to play games with your children to find letters and colors.  This is fun reinforcement of the concepts they are learning at school. 

v Our themes for the month of January – Dr. Seuss, Rodeo, Spring Changes, and beginning Wild Weather.  Be to read your weekly newsletters to know what to send with your children.  We will be doing several fun activities that correspond with our themes for the weeks that will allow the children to make fun crafts and share their ideas with their friends.

v Math – #5, over/on/under, rectangle.  Help your child find these shapes and work on these concepts in every day activities to reinforce what we are learning at school.

v Religion Themes – Jesus has Many Friends, My Church Friends, We Celebrate Easter.

 

Things to remember:

 

v Tuition is due by the 15^th of the month.  Please pay by this date even if you do not attend on the 15^th.  Late fees will be charged as $2/day.

v Send backpacks and folders EVERY day, please!

v Spring pictures March 10^th – you may bring your child between 8-10 a.m. if you want them to take individual pictures.

v Spring Break March 15-19 – No School!

 

Pre-K 4’s

 

 

During March, we will be learning:

v Letters – Ss, Tt, and Review.  Our themes for the month will be Dr. Seuss, Fairy Tales, Spring Changes, and Easter.  Be sure to play games with your children to find letters and colors.  This is fun reinforcement of the concepts they are learning at school. 

v Math concepts - Patterning (AABB), review patterns AB, ABC, #6, Diamond/Rhombus, star, #7, ½ / whole.

v Religion Themes – Jesus Has many Friends, We Are Friends of Jesus, We Celebrate Easter.

v Cooking – Green eggs and ham, porridge, upside down cakes.

v Our themes for the month of April – Easter, Spring Changes, Plants and Flowers.  Be to read your weekly newsletters to know what to send with your children.  We will be doing several fun activities that correspond with our themes for the weeks that will allow the children to make fun crafts and share their ideas with their friends.

v Math – Diamond/rhombus, sorting, most/least, #6, #7, #8.  Help your child find shapes and sort different manipulatives in every day activities to reinforce what we are learning at school.

v Religion Themes – We Celebrate Easter, We Love God More & More, I Pray Every Day, David Sang His Prayers.

Pre-K 4’s

v Letters – Vv, Ww, Xx, and Yy.  Our themes for the month will be Spring, Wild Weather, Pirates, and Farm Animals.  Be sure to play games with your children to find letters, shapes and colors.  This is fun reinforcement of the concepts they are learning at school. 

v Math concepts - #8, #9, #10, nickel, dime, quarter, and sorting money.  Look for numbers, count with your child and play with money to help reinforce what we are learning at school.

v Religion Themes – We Celebrate Easter, David Teaches Us to Pray, We Pray Everyday.

v Cooking – We will be making biscuits and butter, and zebra pudding. We will also be going on a treasure hunt to find a snack and making a tornado in a bottle for a science experiment.
