6th, 7th and 8th graders are currently reviewing for the state assessments, which will begin right after spring break.
All classes are also working on poetry.
Please ask your student how he/she is doing as far as AR progress. They only need 14 points for 3rd quarter, but some do not have any yet! Their AR logs are due March 9. We will have one more class period set aside for reading/testing on March 5. The good news is that MANY students have more points than are needed. Way to go!
The 6th grade Battle of the Books team will have its first practice Thurs. Feb. 18 from 3:30—4:00 and every Thurs. thereafter until our first match on March 24. Dates for Battle of the Books competition: March 24 at St. Peter April 7 at St. Francis April 21 at SEAS Pat Binggeli
