Testing, testing, testing!  We have begun our intense preparation for the Kansas Assessments.  The school testing schedule is listed on the main page of the school website. 

Please encourage your children to take these tests seriously.  We want to showcase our students' ability and it is their chance to shine. 

 

 We have finished our study of the Old Testament in religion and will begin focusing on the 10 Commandments and other aspects of our faith.  We will have a test over the Ten Commandments in the first week of March. 

 

The United States region we are currently on is the Midwest.  Keep studying those states and capitals, as the tests are cumulative.  In late April/early May we will conclude our study of the regions, and the students will know all of the 50 capitals!! 

 

The quarter ends on March 12 and 9 AR points are due by March 5. 

The book report this month is nonfiction, with focus on one animal.
